The share of total R&D expenditure on RRPs is growing among the leading Index Companies

  • Two of 15 Index Companies allocated more than 90% of their total R&D expenditure to RRPs as of the end of 2021 (Figure 23).
  • Five of 15 Index Companies allocated between 60% and 89% of their total R&D expenditure to RRPs as of the end of 2021.
  • Three Index Companies did not show any indication of potential RRP investments.
